Hispanic Culture Festival at Columbia, Maryland

On October 14, 2023, EcoHorizons delivered environmental education to local residents at the Hispanic Culture Festival in the Merriweather Postpavilion, focusing on promoting composting and recycling practices. We were especially excited to see Howard County Executive Calvin Ball show keen interest after learning more about our organization. Dozens of residents signed up to receive free home composting bins, prompting EcoHorizons volunteers to begin distributing and installing them throughout our community.
